Vegetable tarts
The children enjoyed the culmination of their design and technology topic, which had focused on seasonable foods as well as cutting, slicing and grating skills.
They began by designing their tart, and making me a shopping list to take to the supermarket. They had a choice between cream cheese or a tomato base, and then mushrooms, peppers, onion, carrot, tomatoes and courgettes could be sliced and placed on top, before it was sprinkled with grated cheese and backed.
Their vegetable tarts were delicious!
