Swimming
I have been involved in swimming since I was little and I’ve now been teaching swimming for 13 years. When I was younger, I competed for my local swimming club in Chesterfield where I lived at the time, and then I worked at my local leisure centre.
I teach swimming to all age groups; including babies through to national club swimmers. I particularly enjoy teaching stroke and breathing techniques to developing swimmers. I really hope that the children I teach go on to develop a love for swimming. Many go on to join swimming clubs and competing or they try different water activities like; high diving, scuba diving, water polo or open water swimming. Most importantly, children develop their ability to stay safe in the water which means they can enjoy swimming for fun!
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, including my dog. I also enjoy climbing, swimming and football (both playing and watching my favourite team, Sheffield United).
