Future Jobs

In our Talk 4 Writing lessons we have been talking about the different roles the ‘people who help us’ have. We have focused on what they do and why they are important but today we talked about what job we would like to have when we grow up and why. We wanted to focus on speaking in full sentences by adding the ‘because’ word in our speech. Lots of us wanted to be lifeguards like Mr Holmes our swimming teacher, but we also wanted jobs such as teacher, gas man, police officer or lollipop man. We then transferred this to our books and used our phonics skills to help us with spelling.
