Great Fire of London

As part of our ‘People Who Help Us’ learning we have looked into the role of firefighters in the past and in the present. We learnt that we have not always had firefighters or the equipment that firefighters have now. The children really enjoyed learning about how the Great Fire of London started, where it started and what happened. They showed strong understanding into what people had to do to stop it and wanted to create their own version of London (with modern day Big Ben!) to show their understanding.
