PSHE

As a part of your child’s education at Greyfriars Academy, we use the PSHE Association to promote personal wellbeing and development through a comprehensive Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education programme. The PSHE Association is the national body for PSHE education.

PSHE education is the curriculum subject that gives young people the knowledge, understanding, strategies and practical skills to live safe, healthy, productive lives and meet their full potential. It is taught throughout the school in every year group and is monitored and reviewed regularly.

The PSHE Subject Lead is Mrs Pearson bpearson@grf.unity-ed.uk

Children's Mental Health Week

From the 3rd – 7th February 2025, here at Greyfriars Academy, we celebrated Children’s Mental Health Week. At Greyfriars we prioritise our children’s health and well being and wanted to encourage them to understand more about the impact of their mental health. Each class dedicated some time to produce some work on this subject and these pieces of work have been displayed beside our library, on the wall, for all to see.

An overview for PSHE
