School Day

We seek to stimulate the love of learning in our children so that they want to learn for themselves and achieve to the very best of their abilities.

School gates open at 8.25am for children to be in class for a prompt 8.40am registration.

Any children who arrive after 8.40am need to enter school via the school office and will be marked as late. If a child arrives after 9.10am they will be marked with an unauthorised lateness.

Please remember that all late arrival marks will affect your child’s overall attendance.

Break time

KS1 10.00am – 10.15 am
KS2 10.30am – 10.45am

Lunch break

KS1 12 noon – 12.45pm
KS2 12.15pm – 1:00pm

School finishes at 3pm.

After School Clubs run from 3pm – 5pm (fees apply)

Breakfast Club runs from 7.30am – 8.30am Monday to Friday. Breakfast is served from 7.30am – 8.10am. (fees apply)

The school week consists of 32.5 hours. *

*The white paper Opportunity for all: strong schools with great teachers for your child sets out this expectation, and state-funded mainstream schools currently offering a school week of below 32.5 hours should work towards increasing their hours to provide at least 32.5 hours by September 2023 at the latest. Specialist settings, including alternative provision providers, should share the ambition to extend and enrich the school week.
